There is definitely a place for this towel in a number of situations. Let me say this up front: this is not a soft or luxury towel…it feels a bit rough. However, it would be great for emergencies, for camping or traveling, or for messy work like car repair. It is a nice large size and made of a strong, durable material as well. Read more
These are great for the cabin and camper. We are able yo wash our faces before bed, and and ovall refresh when needed. Great quality Read more
As described, can't believe it! Read more
I packed this in my suitcase for when I visited Hell’s Gate, in Rotorua, New Zealand. It is a sulphur spring with mud baths. They warn whatever you bring will be imbued with sulphur, so most rent a towel. I used this disposable towel, and it worked perfectly. I was surprised how large it was as so many others are not a full bath towel size. It’s very soft, and not linty. It couldn’t have been a more perfect product for this occasion. Plus, I didn’t have to pack a wet towel in my bag. I would buy it again. Read more

I wish I had one of these a few months ago. My area was recently without water for an extended period. Without running water, we took baths with bottled water, but had no way to wash our towels. I got these to keep in my emergency kit; this is not the only time we have lost water. In areas with natural disasters, these will come in handy. They are sealed in a compact, vacuum packed, water-proof envelope. Unlike some, they don’t have to be hydrated with water to unfold them. Reusable, but disposable, they absorb water quickly and dry time is reasonable. A dilute bleach-water solution would sanitize them in a pinch. For the convenience of hand towels or rags, simply cut them to size. Even with all their positive qualities, I have two hesitations. First, the price per unit is high. Second, there are options that take up less space. If preparedness is what I’m looking for, then storage space is important. Several of the “hockey puck” variety can fit in the same footprint as this one. Overall, the quality is good, but based on my hesitations, I have a hard time recommending these to the cost conscious or space savers. Given its quality and performance, 4 stars reflects a good overall product that did not exceed my expectations. Read more

We keep this towel in our "emergency bag" in case we find ourselves evacuated once again (fire and earthquake country). It folds up into a compact form for easy storage. A good stand-by towel. Read more
The bath towel works fairly well but is not that effective. It holds up well enough but does not absorb all that well. It is more or less good enough for what it is made for, but not special enough to rate more than three stars. Read more
