I was really intrigued by this product and wanted to give it a try. It's a great concept - a basic towel to keep handy in your trunk or emergency kit for those unanticipated situations. To be clear, this is designed as a drying towel and not an emergency blanket or reflective heat wrap. The packaging indicates that it's made of cotton fibers and is free from added chemicals. The material has a cross-woven pattern and is indeed softer than I imagined it to be. Fully unfolded, the towel measures 27 x 55 inches, or approximately 2 x 5 feet. That's certainly a respectable size and ensures excellent mileage if you need to use different areas of the towel to clean up whatever mess you've gotten yourself into. The overall package containing the folded towel measures 7 x 10 inches and 1 inch thick, although it could easily be compacted further by tucking in the packaging edges. The item description notes a 3-pack of towels, so I was happy to see that the towels arrive in 3 individually sealed bags, which makes it easy to store/use them in different places without having to open the packaging. The compact size makes these towels perfect for stowing away in a small nook or cranny to forget about until needed. While the intention is that this is a disposable item, it seems durable enough for several uses. The disposability factor likely comes into play due to the fact that it's an inexpensive product that you might use to clean off mud after a hike or some similar scenario where you don't really care to launder a normal bath towel. The towel doesn't appear to shed its fibers either, which means it could be used for cleaning minor abrasions without leaving behind any residue. There is no reference to the sterility of the towel, so I think it's safe to assume that it's not a medically sterile product, just "clean" and free from dirt or other contaminants that you might have rolling around in your vehicle's trunk. The packaging is a waterproof plastic with an easy open tear strip across the top. All in all, this is a great idea that has found a place in my kit and I'm certain will come in handy. Read more

While other portable and disposable towel products are often the size of kitchen towels or hand towels, this is the size of a full bath towel. You can see it placed over a standard size white bath towel in the picture. Each package weighs only 72 grams. I like that the towel is folded but not heavily compressed or vacuum packed in the package which makes it much easier to unfold and use quickly. The towel feels very thin, like drying myself with a cheap cotton bed sheet. I had to keep folding the towel and turning it over to get myself dry after a shower, but I was able to dry myself fully. It feels like it could hold about half as much water as a similar size terry cotton bath towel before becoming saturated. It is very durable. I dried myself with it twice (letting it dry in between) and I could have used it at least one more time. While it was wet, I tried to pull it apart or tear it and it was very resistant to tearing. Overall, I think it works well for what it is designed for and a good value for money if you need something stronger and larger than a paper towel. Read more

Okay, so I am shocked. These are incredibly lightweight towels and are perfect to carry along in a bag. They aren't the same as regular towels, but they do work! I got these mainly for carrying on walks to dry off myself and my dog when we get wet, and they served my purposes well. Recommend! Read more

At frist I thought these were a joke. I thought that when I opened the package and felt the disposable towel this wasn't going to end well for my shower. But I was sooooo wrong. I scrubbed and scrubbed thinking that this towel would eventually tear apart but it didn't. It held up no different that any other town. These are perfect if. you are going on a camping trip or don't have a lot of room in your luggage or perfect for keeping in your gym bag. I was also surprised at how much absorbent they were. They really didn't feel that much different from a regular towel after a shower with regard to how wet they are. The size is the same as any other bath towel. It is a little wider than the towels I got from Macy. I was able to wrap it around by body while I brushed my teeth and it stayed up/on. I have no complaints these things are exactly as described. The Compact Care Disposable Bath Towels (3 Pack) is a great option for those that are looking to pack/travel light and do not want to pack bulky bath towels. I intend on mainly using this for extended camping trips where luggage and trunk space needs to be thought through more efficiently. The three pack is a great value at approximately $3 per towel. The material is soft to the touch and seems sturdy enough where it will not rip through. The material reminds me of the front layer of hospital paper gowns. The size is more than substantial and would definitely be enough for an average sized adult. I would recommend this for anyone looking to be a minimalist packer. Great product! Read more

These disposable towels could really be great on a long campout, hike, or in an emergency situation. The first thing is their portability. Each comes in its own small pouch which can be easily slipped into a backpack or carry-on. Secondly, the towel is a good size. Certainly large enough to dry yourself off or clean up a significant mess. The towel is fairly soft to the touch and adequately absorbent to dry off after a shower. I did test it, and it worked fine. Now, obviously, it is not as absorbent as a cloth towel, but it serves its purpose well. The towel is well-made. It did not rip or tear. In fact, I do believe you could re-use it if you had to; however, it is really intended for a single use. I really liked this towel and have placed it in my emergency backpack for that "just in case" moment. Read more
