These are the third disposable towels that I have used. Once I started thinking about the bacteria on towels that we wipe our hands and bodies on, I knew I would never stop using them. The first I bought, I liked because they were extra large but after washing my face, I always had left over dry areas so I decided to try to save a few dollars and buy some 8 x 8 ones that I found for a good price. These were great but noticably less soft. Then I ran into these on Amazon and when I saw they had gone viral and had flowers on them, I was intrigued. What can I say, I love pretty things and if something goes viral, there is always a reason. I really like them. I once again got the 8 x 8 ones but they were much softer and much more durable. If I wanted the extra large again I could buy those as well by this same brand but I use the smaller ones and am still able to wipe the counter for excess water. I have noticed I don't break out nearly as much since I started using these little towels and I'm sure you could use it for makeup removal if you so choose. For $4, what do you have to lose? After purchasing many different makeup remover pads and cloths, I always found I needed more than one, sometimes 3 or 4 if using waterproof makeup. These are huge, about the size of a quality face cloth. Even using waterproof makeup and mascara, I add a couple of squirts of my liquid cleanser and I generally have several patches of clean cloth left over. Now while I don’t wear a ton of makeup, this removes all my concealer, foundation and waterproof mascara among other things without any problem. On the rare occasion that I go makeup free, I could cut these in half to wash my face. The box is nicely decorated and has a flip top like a tissue dispenser, not fantastic but it does the job.
