As a horse trainer, I always keep a couple of these stored everywhere. Tack room, tack trunk, trailer, truck, purse, etc. They are very easy to use and have yet had one nick a horse anywhere. Great for the last-minute places that need a touch up at the show when you don't have the time, or don't want to, take out the electric clippers. They don't give a skin smooth shave, but they do shave a bit short than most horses are clipped so practice on a non-visible area first and use a steady hand. These are a must have for your show box, perfect for a quick once over on a horses muzzle or bridle path. Work very good, doesn't seem to bother the horses at all. Be careful using a brand new one, start with flat surfaces before doing an area like the curve of the nostrils. They can cut the skin right out of the package. 1 razor typically lasts me 2-3 uses. These shavers are so easy to use but do not underestimate that little blade! Go slow and be sure to blow or flick off any hair that gets on the protective combs. I went very heavy while using it for the first time and shaved off a little too much of my horses longer butt hair! Works great for thinning the legs and face in the spring! My horse will not let me go near him with clippers (for now) so this really helps clean up my scissor lines. Read more
