I have the universal EPA certifications in refrigeration and am NATE certified with experience in indoor air quality. This little air purifier is exactly what I was looking for to help with the air quality in our RV. I initially searched for a filter style filter with a fan to collect tangible impurities from the air since the AC doesn’t get used in the winter (the AC filter clearly collects dust and other stuff although we all know it’s there to protect the evaporator coil). I was happy to see the ozone capabilities in this device as this helps with odors and charging the particles to stick together and become heavier resulting in less air-born dust and particles. The UV light is good for killing bacteria which is another great feature. Please do your homework regarding the emittance of ozone. Like most everything, It is not very healthy in large doses so results can still be achieved with moderation. This air purifier is wonderful because it lets you choose what you want on – whether its ozone, UV light, and/or filtered air via fan. All of this can be set with the timer so if you decide to go out for the day, you can leave this running for whatever specified time you desire. The unit is small, portable, and aesthetically pleasing. I believe this is a great deal for what you’re getting, and having the flexibility to adapt to whatever or wherever you’re treating. Hands down, the is the best air purifier that I've ever found. At first unpacking I admit I was a bit skeptical. It looks very barebones. When I actually got it unpacked and really looked at the purifier, though, it's phenomenally put together -- very, very sturdy, very elegant in a stripped-down way. The plexiglass box everything is built into is solid and thick. This purifier is not going to fall apart, and will hurt you more than you hurt it if you bump into it. It's sizeable, and though I didn't see anything about size of area that it can purify, given the size of the machine and the force of its fan, I don't see it having any issue cleaning a large area. We set it in our kitchen and it worked like a charm to clean the air -- it feels fresher and definitely smells fresher! The purifier is well packaged for shipment and looks great. It is well put together, and clearly is easy to take apart enough to change the filter when necessary. It even comes with a screwdriver! This is such a great purifier at such a great price.
