You can finally create professional-looking content without being locked into one ecosystem. 2. True 360° Pan Rotation Unlike predecessors that would hit mechanical limits, the OM8 offers unrestricted horizontal rotation. Just got the DJI Osmo Mobile 8 and holy crap, the stabilization is insane. Walking around the house chasing the dog or kids? Footage is buttery smooth, no shakes at all. The ActiveTrack 7.0 locks on people/pets like magic – even in low light with the little fill light module. Built-in extension rod is clutch for group selfies without looking goofy, and the tripod legs pop out for hands-free setup on the kitchen counter or snowy patio (tested in 20°F weather, no issues). Probably one of the best upgrades I’ve done for my business. The only thing I dislike is that if you move too fast the sensor will not catch you. The other thing is that the button to turn on/off the device is very sensitive and you could turn it on without realizing it. Love the versatility of this device. Smooth operations. Product is awesome. Seller is even Better: received product and went out of town to wedding. Got working However it appeared I was missing the tracking attachment. I sent seller a note - ansking If I was missing something and Also I indicated I may have left it in the box and I’ll check when I get back in town. Whoever responds first was my thought. Within 24hrs, seller called me direct and apologized. The manufacturer sent out a shipment without this piece in the factory sealed packages. I was told how it would be made right and I let them know not to sweat the small stuff. He was surprised, several he spoke to were quite upset at him and his company / etc. if you are one of those people reading this: Hakuna Matata. The original product was factory sealed- this is one of those things that just happens - nobody’s fault. They made it right and we all move on. The DJI Osmo Mobile 8 is exactly what the 7 should’ve been. It has a sweet 360° rotation, a Barrel Roll mode(definitely my favorite feature, but could slightly be improved if they offered a full 360° barrel roll in future updates/upgrades). As for the battery, this gimbal easily lasts me all day(9-10hrs for me). It’s super lightweight, and I love that it can even charge my phone while shooting. As for the included multifunctional module— this thing’s a HUGE bonus! Adjustable light, AI tracking for people and pets, and a seamless audio/video sync when paired with the DJI Mic Mini. For fast, creative, “run-and-gun” mobile shooting, this thing is a beast. I use it daily as a social media manager filming barndominium homes, and after weeks of heavy use, this thing has been easy to handle and flawless. I’ll add one more note and mention that the fact that that DJI finally added support for Apple DockKit is truly the best thing(You can use this with your iPhone’s native camera app and utilize this gimbal with your phones professional camera features!!).
