First off, let's talk texture. This sweater is incredibly soft. It feels great, not scratchy, making it comfortable to wear all day long. Secondly, the fabric is wonderfully thick. Thin sweatshirts is a pet peeve of mine, and this one lives up to my expectations. The logo is cute too. I got black on black so the sequins is subtle. Adds a great designer touch without being overwhelming. Arm length is great. Being a tall girl that is sometimes a problem. My only criticism is the length. I am 5'8" and it hits right where my jeans start. Not a huge deal. My stomach is not showing when I walk, but if I reach for anything it does. You can tell this is a high quality sweater as soon as you put it on. The cut of this sweater fits so well. This is a little bit oversized which I don't tend to like. I prefer slimmer (not fitted) and longer but this is really flattering. The material is soft and solid and I really like the subtle shine to the sequins on the DKNY. It's a rich red color which is complementary to most skin tones. I usually wear size 6 / medium and the medium fits as intended. If you're pretty slim you could probably size down. I like the bit of forgiveness in this sweater while looking intentionally oversized not frumpy. Definitely recommend. Read more
Beautiful rich deep black sweater! I’d consider it mid weight, it is soft, well fitted (I got it in a large for a baggy look but wear a small) and the DKNY appliqué is well made. This sweatshirt is quite pretty, I like that the logo isn’t overly noticeable because of being black on black. It’s not heavy, no fleece lining, more of a fashion piece which is to be expected with this style. The fit is a bit weird to me, more of a doleman sleeve than oversized. It’s cropped which is in style now but the sleeves are wide then narrow quite a bit making it not the most flattering fit. And after holding my cat only once the entire front is snagged- not something I would expect from a designer brand top. All my clothes would be ruined if simply holding the cat was enough to snag them. Read more
Let’s be honest. When I see something with the DKNY logo I have expectations, and I’m so happy to be able to say that this beautiful sweater exceeds them all. I hesitated, not sure whether to order it, order the black on black, or go for the high quality bling and do the silver. I ended up deciding to order the black emblazoned with the silver logo and I’m so happy I did. The sweater is a nice weight, slightly cropped and well made. The picture I took doesn’t do it justice. This sweater is gorgeous. The logo is all the accessories I’ll ever need when I wear it. It’s not that I care about brands as much as it is about how well This brand represents and expresses its own unique American style and design aesthetic.
