I moved into a new house that's much smaller than my previous one. My youngest 2 children have to share a room now, and my son uses his computer a LOT. I didn't want to keep the computer in their bedroom, which may have bothered his sister, so I found an area of the living room to put it it. I needed a small, simple desk to set it up on, and this fit the bill. I have lupus and deg disc disease, and even I was able to put this together by myself! It suggests 2 people, but that seems a little crazy, and definitely unnecessary, to me. I think a 2nd person would probably only get in the way. The pieces are all nice and solid, but none were too heavy for me. Came with 1 extra of every screw, which is always helpful to have, and not every company does this. All of the screws are the kind you use and Allen wrench on (included), which I prefer to standard screws. This kind doesn't have the problem of top of the screw warping out of shape and being ruined. Very easy to put this desk together! I casually assembled it while watching an episode of Elementary, and was finished before the episode was over. Prob took about 30-35, while taking my sweet time. When complete, this desk feels very sturdy and solid. It looks just as pictured in the product images. It has adjustable feet that you add to the legs, so you can make it slightly higher off the ground, or adjust for an uneven surface if needed. The legs are made of metal, and the feet are hard plastic. I like that it comes with a side pocket, and a hook. Hook will certainly in handy for my son's headphones when not in use. And the pocket will come in handy for.. well, just about anything! Homework, mail, magazines, etc. The pocket is made of paper with some kind of hard board inside to keep it's shape. The only thing I didn't love about this is that the print of the wood grain on the desktop piece is not super clear or as nice looking as some. It's a bit fuzzy and low resolution looking to me. It also came with a scratch on 1 area of the top side of the desktop. It's not a deep scratch, and won't affect the use in any way. My son's computer will probably cover that area, and I imagine he will scratch the remaining desktop over the duration of use. Lol. The only reason I rated this 4 stars instead of 5 was because of the scratch. It was very well packages when it came, and done so in a way that made me sure the scratch was already on it when it was put in the package. So minus a star for quality control. But, all of the pieces were there, and they all fit together perfectly! That's way more important to me. The assembly instructions are very well laid out, and should be easy for any adult to follow. I do feel like this is a little pricey, but the brown is more expensive than the white one for some reason, so if you get the white then it's a good deal. The white wouldn't have been good for my 12 yo, so I had to pay the extra for brown. I definitely recommend this desk if you need a desk for a small area! Read more

What I loved was the fact it is compact/small. It’s great in my master bedroom where my husband and I purchased a new laptop. I purchased the white tabletop with a black legs. It’s very sturdy, Took only 20 minutes or less for my husband to put together. The price was great and I was surprised how nice the quality of the table is when we paid such a great price for it. I’m able to use this desk for my new laptop as well as my DVD/CD player and everything that we needed with room to spare. I love the black holder on the side of the table because it holds a lot inside it. You can store many things in it. It’s very roomy and keeps everything organized. Also I loved that it came with a holder for my headphones. It’s great that I am able to use my laptop with this nice table in a quiet area. So I can write my book. There is not one thing I can say that is negative about this table. I purchased a black ergonomic chair that slides in and as I said earlier the table is perfect size. It took about 25 minutes to fully set up this desk and tighten all of the bolts, thanks in part to the easy to follow instruction manual. The screw in folder feels quite solid and had no issues supporting my iPad Pro and Kindle without collapsing. The headphone hook also supported my headphones without issue and since it’s bolted in, is in no danger of falling off. While I haven’t tried to stand on this desk, it’s sturdy enough to handle a laptop, portable monitor, and an iPad on it which makes it good for students who need a desk for their homework. While writing and typing on the desk, I haven’t experienced any wobble, but there is some movement when shifting elbows on the desk or physically holding the sides and moving the arms. This is not going to be the same quality as an expensive solid wood desk, but for the price, what do you expect? I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this desk to anyone who needs a small workstation which looks good on a budget. My only complaint about it is there is no cable management, so I had to use double sided Velcro to attach a surge protector to the desk. I’ve used other cheap desks that did have this feature, but they were much larger. Read more
