I love this electric kettle. So easy to use and it heats the water FAST. Makes my mornings so much faster when I’m trying to get out the door for work. I’m also very forgetful and I know I won’t burn my house down with this which is what I was afraid I was going to do if I forgot to turn my stove off while heating my traditional kettle in the mornings. Its cute and the gooseneck design helps pour more accurately if you have any dexterity or mobility issues. Its simple to use, just press down on the switch and it will automatically turn off and flip the switch back up when its done. Its easy to clean and makes the water nice and hot very quickly. The only draw back I have is that after one use the inside suddenly had 2 rust or burn spots. I'm not sure if thats supposed to happen but I will have to do my own research on that. I bought this for my office and it works well. It is lightweight and I love the style and retro look of this kettle. It heats quickly, which is nice when I’m working. It holds enough water for two normal cups. However, I’m looking to replace it for another, safer, kettle. I have accidentally touched the hot body a few times and it was super hot. I chose metal because I didn’t want plastic like my last kettle, but I did not think about how hot it would get. I’ve had other kettles and none became this hot on the outside. That is my only complaint so far. If you have children who may get curious or use this, or you’re a bit clumsy like me, you may want to consider finder a safer kettle.
