I ordered this back seat extender for my 2018 Hyundai Tucson for my Belgian Malinois service dog, and overall I’m very happy with it. My pup is still young and struggles to keep her balance in the car, often sliding or falling off the seat. This extender completely solves that problem and gives her so much more space to sit or lie down comfortably without any fear of falling. It’s sturdy enough for her 65 lbs, and the material is easy to clean, which is a huge plus. Installation was a breeze, just a few minutes and it was ready to go. The mesh window and storage pockets are convenient for keeping an eye on her and storing treats or toys. My only concern is the bottom board; it doesn’t feel as strong as advertised, so I have a hard time believing it would hold 450 lbs. Then again, I didn't actually test it with that weight. Also, the price felt a little high for the quality I received, but the convenience, safety, and space it provides for my dog make it worth it. I have used the regular full backseat "U" covers for years so was very interested to try this "U" shaped cover with a "hard floor." The hard floor definitely gives a bigger, and more stable, space for my two standard poodles to lounge in while I'm driving them around. The see through mesh between the two front seats allows my back-seat dogs to see what's going on up in the front seat yet the mesh is tall enough to keep them in the back seat. I like this seat protector a lot and my only concern is that the material used for the back and front part of the cover doesn't feel as tough as my old cover. It'll probably take several weeks of use before I can tell how the material holds up to my dogs. This fits in the backseat of my Jaguar E-Pace and was easy to put on within just a few minutes. My senior dog is used to being able to roam the seats, but with age, she isn't as balanced as she used to be. This has been a god send on trying to travel with a few small dogs. Now they have a platform they can stay more secure on while in the back plus they can no longer slip and get stuck on the floor.
