Thought I'd never find the perfect trifecta for a dress shoe- made to last, fashionable, and comfortable fit all in one shoe. My wide-sized foot found immediate comfort when slipping on this shoe. A little lighter shade of tan than the pictures let on, but I'm ok with that. Very stylish for the office, but not too formal, which is great for me. I'm on my feet a lot at the office and these shoes provide a cushion in your step throughout the day. The leather is very soft and forgiving, plus there's extra padding around the top of the heel. My only complaint is that the rubber sole directly under the leather (and around the sides) is a little cheap, so any scuffs on the curb or drags of the toe across the carpet will start to tear away at the rubber. Something to think about if your a little clumsy like me. That's the only reason I rated 4 instead of 5 stars. My last pair of brown dress shoes lasted 7 years. Ever wondered if you should buy a shoe on the internet, but worry if it won't fit? Search no more. You have found the perfect shoe. I'm a size 11 and these shoes shipped and fit me like a size 11. It was miraculous. I don't walk around too much in them. I'm an insurance agent, so I tend to sit around all day thinking about my clients and making sure they are properly covered because that's what I do - I care. And caring doesn't require walking around. So these shoes don't get too much wear and tear from me. But every time I do walk in them, I feel happier with each step. They are comfy, and look pretty good. I would say that the picture is pretty accurate with the color as well. The only downside was like the first day I wore them, the back was hard and like almost any other business/Sunday dress shoe, it took a day or two to break in. I'm called cheap but I prefer thrifty. Either way I've never spent more than $75 on a pair of shoes. With that in mind, these are the most comfortable office shoes I've ever owned. There was no "break in" period they were comfortable from day one. They feel a little bigger than other shoes of the same size but not to the point where I should have bought a half size smaller. The gel insert is irrelevant as I don't even feel it but I don't feel it's needed either. I might feel different if I was standing all day, which I don't, but for an office job they are quite good. I have not experienced the issue I've have read with the shoes coming untied. Maybe they changed the laces which is what I would do if that situation arose. Styling is decent. The soles are a but big and stick out around the uppers more than I would like but overall they are fine for a casual or office environment you're just not going to impress any one with your shoes. Love how flexible this shoe is. Many dress shoes have stiff backs and cut into the top of my heel, not so with these beauties. The soft fit and rubber sole make these very comfortable. These are my fourth pair. Last pair lasted several years, see image of new versus old. Read more

I'll start off by saying that I've been buying this exact shoe for about 8-9 years for work. I'm an airline pilot and wanted a shoe that I wouldn't have to take off while going through the metal detectors. Not only did this shoe fit the bill, it also looked great and was durable. Well, over the last couple of years, Dockers quality has taken a severe nose dive. This is the 3rd pair of these shoes I've owned in the past year. The previous two fell apart after several months, with white threads showing on the sides and splitting of the "leather". I read from other reviews on here that there was a brief decline in quality but judging from some of the recent reviews it had improved. Well, the pair I'm wearing now on August 1st, as I sit here on a rainy evening in London, were delivered on March 15, 2016. They are all but worthless. There is a deep crack in the rubber sole of the right shoe allowing water to saturate the shoe and sock. There are the typical white threads poking out of the side of both shoes.... A testament to shoddy materials and craftsmanship. I cannot express the disappointment I feel for the rapid decline of this once great product. I will not be purchasing these again and I can only strongly recommend that no one else purchase these either. They are a waste of money and you will only be replacing them within 4 or 5 months. I have worn this shoe before like many others, but this one is the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn and that alone is worth the money. I like it so much that I have a pair for work and one to go out and I usually get an extra pair just because. I stay on these shoes from 7 am to 8 pm sometimes and longer. It looks good with jeans or slacks (docker style pants) I get mine in wide so it's not to tight up front. Some shoe sizes lack the wide range and because of that it shortens their sales but Docker did a good job on these. I have worn them for years. You will not go wrong with these shoes whether for the casual or dress occasion.
