I am so glad they make replacements of these! I have several of the metal shelves in my shower and I have noticed over time no matter how much you clean and bleach and scrub them, they start to look horrible, not to mention my husband having accidentally hit a few shelves one too many times and broken the hinges the shelves lock in to. These have been a life saver allowing me to change them out as needed. I will say, they are a pain to remove. I don’t have the patience for hair dryers or whatever other hack exists so I am just doing it in a manner I won’t mention here and when they are on, they are on! They work great because of that though! They are secure and easy to install. Make sure you have your correct placement because once the adhesive has taken hold, which is pretty much immediately, it’s stuck. I have had one or two times where I was able to quickly pull it back off and reposition it but they are extremely sticky and that isn’t something that you want to do or it will even really allow for. We found ourselves in need of some new shower replacements for our bathrooms. Thankfully, the old ones weren’t falling off—they were really sticking well. But since we have a tiled shower with grout, sometimes you just want to take them off for a good scrub. So, we did, and it turned out they needed replacing afterwards obviously. I really appreciate that these come in a pack with multiple pieces; they work just as well as the originals and are such a great price! I would definitely buy them again—and I will. These self adhesive shower rack support hooks are a good size (2"×2"?) and would work best with using several of them across the top of a wire shelf. This is especially true considering the fact that they arent very sticky. I am concerned that the adhesive wont hold up to holding up the weight of anything more than a shelf itself, nevermind after you've added heavy bottles and such to it. I may be wrong. The large surface area they cover is likely to help with adhesion. So far I haven't been able to bring myself to try them out for that use yet. I have, however, attached one to my front door to hold a "welcome" sign and that is holding up well. So I may have uses for these after all, even if it turns out that it cant hold what it's intended to. The backing covering the adhesive comes off really easily, without struggle. Read more
