I was super impressed with the quality of these boots for the price. They feel and wear like high end boots. The angle of the foot is comfortable for long wear, and the heel is extremely sturdy. I sized up 1/2 size because of the height of the heel, but I didn't necessarily need to; however, it will allow me to wear thicker socks in the winter. I had lots of compliments on the first wear. These are surprisingly comfy for how steep the heel is. I was able to wear them at work pretty comfortably for the whole day. They came with padded inserts but I didn't feel like I needed them, I'll probably add them eventually since I'd imagine it would make them even more comfortable. I wear usually wear 7-7.5 and got these in 7.5, but they run a little big and I probably would have been more comfortable in a 7. They're also a little baggy around the ankle.
