This ball has been a boredom buster lifesaver. On the first day my 15 week golden retriever puppy played with it for a good 2 hours straight. I was nervous he would immediately get bored with it but nope, he searches for it every day. It has helped with his puppy teething, he's more likely to play with this ball than come up and use my hand/arm/clothes to teethe on. The battery lasts a good amount of time and is quick to charge but I did wish it lasted a bit longer. Overall I'm very happy. We live in a top floor apartment but the noise doesn't seem to be too bad for the neighbors. It's good quality and seems durable. Edit: The velcro for the sleeve wears out within a couple uses. It keeps falling off. It was my puppies FAV thing about the toy because of the pull tag thing. So now it's ineffective for him. Not sure if there's a way to get a new sleeve or not. Read more

Our dog loves this! A bit rowdy and noisy on wood floors but comes with a terry ball cover which helps. My dog entertained as long as it goes! Rechargeable too and doesn’t take long first few days was a bit skeptical but then had had so much fun… Read more

The internal mechanism of this toy works very well, and the ball’s movement immediately caught the attention of my Boxer pup. He was absolutely fascinated and spent hours each day playing with it. However, while the toy’s design is engaging, the durability of the exterior leaves much to be desired—especially for dogs who tend to pick things up with a firm grip. We didn’t know what to expect since our pup hadn’t previously played with an interactive ball, so we supervised playtime and made sure to store the ball in a safe spot when we couldn’t keep an eye on him. Despite this, the ball didn’t hold up. Our pup wasn’t intentionally chewing it. He simply carried the ball in his mouth when we moved downstairs or to another room, yet the grip while he carried the ball caused significant damage to the exterior. Within about a week of regular use (approximately 40 hours in total), the ball’s outer layer became deeply gouged by his teeth. To clarify, my pup wasn’t biting down hard or trying to destroy it, but his natural grip while carrying the ball left deep grooves in the surface. In just days, these gouges made the exterior sharp to the touch and compromised the structure. By the end of the week, we couldn’t screw the cover back together after removing it to recharge the ball, which made it unusable. And I was dismayed that there aren’t replacements readily available. Overall, my pup absolutely loved this toy — it was engaging and kept him entertained for hours. However, if your dog has a strong grip or frequently carries toys in their mouth, this may not hold up as well as expected. It’s a great concept but needs a more durable outer layer and replacement hard covers to make it a long-term investment. Read more

I have bought two of these in different colors. My Yorkie loves them. They’re very interactive even if you don’t put the cover on it they move and if he’s not playing with it, it tends to go into sleep mode.My Yorkie got the cover off the ball within the first two minutes. But he loves the ball. Now bought 2nd ball. The ones with covers don’t work he rips the covers off. Read more

This product will draw your puppy's attention and have it engage with the toy--absolutely! However, the build of this toy is a concern: the cloth pouch meant for the ball to go into is not durable at all, and the material feels like it can be easily ingested--the "strap'' came off right away. Also, the velcro closure was no match for my puppy, a three-month-old Labrador, who pulled the toy out of the pouch with no trouble at all. After pulling the toy out if its cloth pouch, she pried off the rubber cap that covers the power button and charging port in less than a minute. Mind you, she is a three-month-old puppy who weighs 25 lbs., so she is not big at all. Once she pulled the rubber top off, I took the ball away because the rubber became its own 'chew toy' and a choking hazard. The toy is a brilliant idea, but poorly executed: because the ball is hard plastic and not especially easy on a puppy's teeth, the rubber cap is a target as a soft spot on an engaging-but-hard toy. Making the whole toy out of rubber and the rubber cap a screw-on type would make this a much, much better toy. Not only would it be more enjoyable for the puppy, less noisy (and annoying) for pet owners, it would also eliminate the need for a cloth pouch that is ineffectual anyway. With some moderations on the design, I would buy this toy again for my puppy. However, the present design isn't one I would be willing to pay for again. Read more

This ball is heavy and big - more for a lab than my Chihuahua mix. Good thing is the has a big enough mouth to pick it up and carry around. The original fabric around the ball doesn't last long. We just put it into a tube sock and she loves it. Just keep in mind - its heavy and it turns into a cannon ball when your dog is swinging it around. Yes, it'll shatter your shins lol Read more

My 2 year old Cavapoo absolutely loves this ball and it helped use up some of her endless energy. The cover is nice for cutting down on noise but my dog used the short strap to flip it around so I was afraid she’d break something doing that. Unfortunately, after 1 year it’s no longer working. She hadn’t played with it for several months as it was “lost” under the couch but I got it charged up and it was fine at first. But the next day it’s not bouncing around like it normally does even after trying to recharge again. I’m disappointed that it didn’t last longer but it is a very fun toy. I’d give it 5 stars if it had lasted longer. Even though it didn’t last as long as I’d hoped it would, I may end up getting another one since my dog loved it so much. Read more
