When it arrives, it comes tightly rolled up in shrink-wrap. What I did was remove the mat from the plastic shrink wrap.. careful to not cut the fabric as you cut the plastic away. Then, put the mat in the dryer on high for just a few minutes..no longer- because it puffs right up and removes the curled position it had when it was removed from the wrap. I purchased this for my cats because they love to lounge on my kitchen counter & I think this very cushy mat will make them much more comfortable. Read more
