I have a yorkie who gets a longer coat over winter. This year I decided to try put clippers on him. These do cut but you have to clean the fur out after each swipe of fur. It gets clogged up even with le largest guard on. It is quiet and really safe! My finicky boy got used to it and is no longer scared! The charge lasts quite awhile and has good power. Read more

This Veeconn Dog clipper/grooming set has been working great for me. It is easy to use, doesn't bog down in thick matted fur and has a long run time. Handles thick fur, and removes hair quickly. It also was cheaper than the one it replaced which was a Wahl. The attachments work well and attach with an audible click so you know they are on and don't keep pushing them in till they crack. I got this for the wife for Christmas and she loves it, so does Scooter. Here's what she had to say about it. The battery life was plenty long to trim Scooter, our 15 year old Schnoodle. The different clipper heads are great and they're good at getting the hair from in between the dogs foot pads. It didn't lack any power and she was able to clean Scooter up pretty quickly. It's easy to handle and being cordless makes it much easier to maneuver around the dog. Best of all, it's quieter than her old corded dog clipper, which helps keep Scooter's anxiety down during the trimming. This was a winner-winner, dog clipper :-). I wish I would have thought of buying a smaller pair for my dogs sooner. I have a full size pair of clippers and they seemed to irritated my dogs skin, leave red streaks where the teeth of the shaver is and sometimes "bite" with the sharp ends. Not only did they irritate my dogs skin, but the loudness of the full size clippers always left my dogs shaking and in fear of being groomed. This pair was recommended by a friend that has them and I am so happy that she did. My senior boy often slips on our wood flooring from the hair between his toes and on his feet. This set of clippers is not only much more quiet than the ones I was using before, but they cut just as well, if not better. I feel safer using these clippers because they can get into small places like his toes, face and other gentle places. With all of the attachments, it's like a professional groomer came over. I can trim the hair in his ears quickly and not stress him out. Even the first time using them when I needed to give him a long grooming, the clippers didn't get hot like my other set. The blades are still just as fast and sharp so the quality is outstanding and the price is impressive, especially for what I would have spent having his grooming done professionally. The last time we had a partial grooming, it was $65 and that was just for a clean up. I am happy that I no longer cause unnecessary stress and pain caused by a larger set of clippers. Read more
