This product worked great together. I have had dogs all my life, but never a breed that had floppy ears and hair inside of them. We just adopted these guys and they were in bad shape. Their ears were smelly. I was a little concerned about pulling out the hair from inside of a dogs ear, but in our case it wasn't really hair that was firmly attached to the ear. It was a clump of old hair and ear wax that was completely nasty. The powder neutralized the ear wax and made it possible to pull the clump of hair out. The tweezers have a locking mechanism. so once you grab the hair, you lock it and then turn it to twine the hair around it like the video shows. High quality product. Highly recommend. Read more

This works great. I have a mini Schnauzer who has lots of long hair and his ear canals. I've read that schnauzers are groomed by pulling hair out of their ears although I was always hesitant to do so. I generally just clipped the hair as short as I could as it grew out of the ear canal so it wouldn't want up and clog up his ears. I decided to be bold and try this kit. I don't know if the powder had anything to do with it but following directions this hair pulled out easily and my dog never moved and didn't seem to experience any discomfort. Although his ears have never been dirty his ear canals are now for free. The photo that accompanies this review shows you the amount of fur I pulled out of one ear canal. I was flabbergasted. The tools that came with this kit may not be surgical quality steel but they are very sturdy and work as they should for this job. Read more
