They're just the right size to get into my dog's ears.
My dog has a chronic ear condition, and try as we might, we can't seem to get rid of it completely. The odd thing is, it's only his right ear, his left has never been a problem. While antibiotics and anti-fungals help for a while it always seems to come back. I have begun irrigating and washing his ear to mechanically remove the gunk. I follow up with these giant Q-tips. They fit nicely into his ear canal to remove the last bits of it. He doesn't like it very much, which isn't surprising, but I try to be as gentle as I can. When I first started using them, the tip would come back stained a very dark brown, but now it's much-much fainter, and cleaner, so I think the mechanical removal is working. There's also little to no inflammation where before it used to be red & angry. The wooden handles are sturdy which I like because if he's squirming around, there's the possibility it could break off, but it never has. They're also a nice length which makes it easier to manipulate them in his ear. The cotton on the tips is nice & thick, and well attached, so there's less of a possibility of harming him. So far so good. I've yet to see the cotton delaminate or come off in any way while using them. Read more
These dog q-tips work surprisingly well
These q-tips worked great! I assumed my dogs would both be scared of them and not like the feeling of them being in their ear but they both loved the feeling of their ears being cleaned with these q-tips and the Chihuahua basically turned into Thumper LOL. Really good quality q-tips and they are very very absorbent! Read more

These are great to help clean my dog's ears. My dog had hematoma in both ears from a car accident, which resulted in cauliflower ear in both ears. I was using human q-tips to clean his ears and they worked ok, but these are nice with a longer handle. I wish they had cotton tips on both sides and were a little thicker on the tips, but pretty good. Read more
