My had it for 2 days and my dog chewed off the front strap. Other than that IF the brace is chew proof it fits good and seems to help him with his elbow. Seems comfortable to him. Read more

This is a front leg (elbow) protector/brace with a connecting strap across the back. It is made of two layers of fabric and a cushy layer of padding in between. It is fully adjustable using Velcro straps. The brace comes with an instruction manual I have a 14-year-old male dog who weighs 90 pounds. I ordered the size "XL both legs" and it fits find, although his legs are a bit slimmer than the range on the size chart. It's fine, but there is quite a bit of extra material. Every once in a while, he gets arthritis pain in his front legs - he also has problems with his back feet - so I thought this brace might help him. He was not thrilled with the initial fumbling and adjustment, but once it was fitted properly, he seemed comfortable. The brace covers most of his front legs to the carpus (wrist), which is great because he is one of those weird dogs that comfortably lies down with his front feet bent backward and his hind feet out behind him. Like a puppy. The brace is very well constructed, feels soft in the contact areas, and sturdy on the outside. The Velcro adheres well, and the adjustable straps make the brace customized to each dog. The padding is thick and breathable so it can support the leg while not getting in the way of daily use. It is isn’t a miracle worker, but this does a great job for minor to moderate injuries, and is quite comfortable. My dog can be a little picky about clothing, braces etc, but she wears this all day without issue. Overall, it is a quality brace, easy to install and adjust, and it works well. Read more
