As a teen owner of a bigger dog ,I love this leash plus helps me train him with pulling. The length is 6ft which isn’t bad for me because I have different leashes and this one is mostly for training or walks ,the grip is great and comfortable,The Quality is amazing and i honestly haven’t seen it slip.The weight is light even with a bigger dog .The durability is pretty good for the price but honestly this isn’t bad at all. I am a 5'1" 54-yr old woman with a 4-year-old, stubborn, energetic 60-pound pit/English bulldog/mutt! Putting him on a leash is miserable! He doesn't pull constantly but if he sees a cat or squirrel or tumbling leaf...he's going to lunge at it. Keeping him controlled is a two-handed workout because our neighborhood is overrun with cats. I've tried harnesses, chokers, numerous types of collars and complicated contraptions to 'stop pulling' that have too many straps and nothing helped. I ordered this style because I have heard people talk about it being a good training leash to help discourage pulling. I had my doubts but I slipped this on just below his ears, set the stopper and headed outside. The first lunge didn't jerk my arm and shoulder like he normally did. Zeus stopped. turned and looked at me like I had done something wrong. And I knew I was going to like this leash! The frequency of his pulling has decreased by a good 80% and so has the energy he uses to lunge. It's not a magic cure-all but it has done wonders for us! I no longer dread taking him out. The leash itself is thick and seems to be strong and durable. I'm not worried it's going to snap or that he's going to pull out of my hand. The padded handle is wonderful! The 6-foot length is great because it gives me control with just one hand and still allows me enough room to provide him some distance when he needs to do his business. With this style of leash, I can walk Zeus and my 12-pound terrier at the same time...something I was never able to do before. I will never buy any other style of leash again! Read more

The leashes are okay but they are not very good for small dogs. They are very thick so when they get twisted they kink. Read more

I really like it for normal utility use but it does have one stretch to it which when I am using it for Obedience work it's not as good as my other one that has no stretch to it. But it's soft and long which I do like. Read more
