Dog Man: Mission Impawsible was the first video game my 6-year-old nephew asked for, and it did not disappoint! He’s a huge fan of the books, and this game brings that world to life in the best way. It is colorful, silly, and full of action. The controls are easy enough for young kids to use, but there’s still plenty to explore and enjoy. He loved solving fun missions, playing as his favorite characters, and unlocking silly surprises. The humor stays true to the books and kept him laughing the whole time. Got this expecting it’s based on the recent 2025 movie. More based on the comics Very basic puzzle platformer, aimed at younger audiences. There’s a invisibility mode under accessibility. Only 1 player -Story Plot is very basic: Some supa bad guys (Mecha Philly , Piggy , Incorrigible Crud ,and Robo-Chief) steal the key to the city and release evil doers from prison. Up to you to stop them Coming off the movie, no voice acting which is disappointing -Gameplay: Able to switch between Dogman, Petey and 80 HD seamlessly. Each have pros/cons in terms of traversal/platforming and puzzle solving Dogman has average jump and height Petey is has short jump and height. Not able to jump high platforms, but able to squeeze through some areas other Dogman and 80 HD can’t 80HD high jump and tall. Able to jump higher platforms other characters can’t. Can’t duck/walk through some obstacles Each have new abilities as you progress through the levels: Dogman has hookshot, glide, and dig ability Petey has hack (unlock invisible platforms and sliding doors) , can climb walls, and shrink crate ability 80HD has double jump, push heavy crates, and has scissors to cut string Puzzles are creative but simple. Majority of the time you are just pushing heavy crates with 80HD, hop over and push from the other side Boss battles are easy once you figure out the attack pattern Very easy PSN platinum trophy. Most difficult is finding all collectibles (tadpoles/badges), gaining enough bones in a level to get a badge Read more
