To be honest I am afraid to do my dogs nails myself. And my work schedule makes it difficult to get him to a groomer. My son has three dogs himself and volunteered to do my dog as well. So based on reviews I purchased this set so we cld have a trimmer at my place and I let him take the rest w him. All four dogs are medium to large breeds. My son said they are very comfortable in the hand and easy to use. He had no problems safely trimming all of the dogs and they cut thru the nails with ease. I have only used this set a couple of times however it is already been more than worth the $12 I spent on this kit. Trimmers seem Sharp and well made, I had no issues with the quality, no accidental cuts and everything seems sharp and durable. Bonus that it even comes with its own carrying case and file. Love that this has so many in one, girl is good, clippers are ease to use and cutting quality is great. I don't speed through clipping my dogs nails because he needs you to go slow. functionality is great because there are different once you can pick from. Quality clippers, not flimsy like the real cheap plastic ones. Don't know why you need so many things, just the file and clippers would be good, but it's not that much more that the cheap ones and everything is quality. I like that it comes with a case too Read more
