My standard poodle 10 month old puppy has been quick to learn most behaviors except self control when we have guests in our home. She would bark and jump on everyone. After reading the reviews on this product, I took a chance and ordered one. I kept rubber tips on the prongs as I would not use the shock option. The first time I used the beep button she stopped what she was doing and sat down. I have only had to use it about 4 times in the past week. Our great grandchildren came to visit today. She was calm and did not misbehave once. She even laid on the sofa with her head in our 4 year year old grand son's lap. My husband and I were amazed! We never had to activate the collar once. I believe we will be able to retire this miracle collar within a few weeks. I think she just needed the nudge the collar gave her to use self control. This is a really good product. Its water proof, and the durability is really impressive! My dog is a chewer, so I can truly say that it holds up. The price is fair(compared to others on the market), so I would buy again. Its easy to use, and really simple. You can have multiple collars on one remote which is nice because I have 2 dogs with the same collar. The battery lasts a good long while. I charge mine overnight, and its last the whole next day. It came with rubber caps for the nodes just in case you don't want to use the shocking option, or if you're just training. The beep option is really great (and LOUD), the vibrate option is really nice also, and the shock goes up to 9, and is fairly painless, just a nice shock to put them straight. I have(just gonna be honest) dropped the remote multiple times, and it is still 100% fine, still works the same as it did when I got it. This was the 5th training collar I tried. My dog was a frenzied barker. He barked at trucks, people walking by, or the neighbor working in her yard. None of the other collars were strong enough to get his attention and a couple were so confusing, by the time I figured it out, the person or truck were gone. This one is easy to work. It holds it's charge for more than 3 days before needing to be recharged. But most importantly, it gets his attention and stops his barking. I'm happy and so are my neighbors. Read more

We revived this collar on Oct 27th 2022 it is now Nov 8th 2022 we have only had a week or so I made sure when placing it on my dog to be able to fit four fingers underneath he only has the collar on half the day at a time when training it when we are all home he does not have it on at night at all or threw the whole day but this thing using vibrate only no shocking ate a hole in my dogs neck and the collar also seemed to be rusting on the metal contacts even though it has never got wet it it’s also vary dangerous as the one and only he was shocked was by accident when putting the remote in my pocket to go for a walk and training it was on setting 1 one the shock and it made my dog scream out and fall flat from the shock it is way over powered by far he is a hunting dog he is tough I have never seen him react like that to anything I noticed today that he has a funny smell I took the collar off to fine the pics I posted I took the pics while I was giving him a wash of the wounds and applying antibiotic ointment on them as they were decent size holes on a spot he will want to itch as it heals so not buy this it is awful please go to pets mart ducks sporting goods or a hunting store and by a brand name good one this is so dangerous and can harm your dog he does not even have it on much only during training sessions or Maude at a dog park to beep him and get him to come back to me at the beep this is sad I want a refund and this thing to be pulled till the safety issues are worked out Read more

The customer service is outstanding. They listen to their customers and hear what is their concerns. They are addressing the issues of smaller dogs without having an undercoat. There is an anticipated design change to incorporate these issues. Based on the strength of the vibration, I don't think I could shock my dog. Read more

This collar has really good battery life, i can turn up the vibration and tone to get my pups attention and in the event I have to use the static I’ve never had to turn it over “1” it seems to have pretty strong static at a low level. I wanted to come back and revise my review. After using this collar for a few months, I had some trouble with the static button sticking and it would continue the static even when I stop pressing the button, that was upsetting because my purpose of using this collar was strictly to get my pups attention and bring her focus back to my commands as well as correcting behavior that needed to change, not to hurt her and the “constant”static from the button sticking when I didn’t know was happening was upsetting because I think it may have been more than what she needed :( Read more

If the battery would have lasted longer I would have given this a 5 star review. The collar and remote are easy to use and my dogs responded well. The range was exactly what I expected but the battery did not last long. Read more
