Light Weight & Durable for Large Dogs

My dogs are 55-75 lbs, high-prey-driven, excitable (bird dogs). This means a sudden lunge at cats or other animals is not out of the ordinary. That being said, this is a lightweight cable that withstands the lunges and pulls. It works very well, and I've bought several. The only thing that keeps it from being a 5-star rating is that the plastic coating breaks, which exposes small, severed wires that have cut my hands multiple times. I don't expect the cable to last forever with active dogs, but this is a disappointing feature. The plastic coating color also fades. I bought a bright orange one to see it well in the snow, but the color faded to grey, defeating the purpose. Read more
