One of my cat is okay with the noise while my others cats run as they hear the sound. The machine itself was well made easy to assemble and clean. I shaved my cat’s feet and the fur went right up no fur was left on my bed. But still, due cat’s nature this is more of a dog product Read more

The media could not be loaded. I've wanted to try one of these for a long time and was super excited when I got the chance. We have a 1 year old golden retriever and the shedding is as you'd expect, especially this time of year. She's not afraid of the vacuum cleaner and LOVES to be pet and brushed so I really hoped she'd tolerate this. We turned it on without the hose to get an idea of the noise level and it's surprisingly quiet. She did not react other than to walk over and sniff it. We left it on while we brushed her without the hose hooked up just to get her used to it. Then the moment of truth and we hooked up the hose. She loved it! She actually wound up laying down and closing her eyes while we brushed her. So now for how well it works. This thing is great. The suction on low speed is enough to capture at least 95% of the hair removed with the shedding rake or the slicker brush. It's easy to clean the hair from the brushes as you're working - there's a little button you press on the back of the handle to retract the brush and release the hair - and it gets sucked right into the hose. The brushes are a good size for a 55 lb pound golden retriever, and the undercoat blades are sharp enough to cut through minor tangles, though not as sharp as one of our dedicated undercoat shedding blades. We also tried it on medium and high speeds. She tolerated medium just fine but seemed annoyed by the noise of high. It's not as loud as our old Dyson Animal floor vac but is much louder than low. The clippers seem to work ok but our dog wouldn't let us do her feet because it tickled too much. The guards seem reasonable sturdy but I don't have any experience with how sharp the blades are. It is very quiet while operating though. Overall if you suspect you have a tolerant dog, and your dog needs frequent brushing, you probably need this thing. It caught almost all of the mess. I didn't have a single whispy little fuzz tickle my nose. I will mention two things. First, it did put off a weird smell the first minute or so that it ran, but it disappeared quickly. Second, the cyclone effect in the canister is not very strong. After only a minute or so the hair was pretty much bunched up over the exhaust filter. It did not seem to affect suction until it was almost completely full though. Read more

This vacuum isn’t strong at all and doesn’t suck up any of my dogs hair. The button on the de-shedding tool is supposed to be designed to when you press the button it will retract the “teeth” on the comb and suck up the dogs hair. I have to still manually shove the dog hair into the vacuum and even then it doesn’t suck it up. I have a short haired dog, so it’s not like it’s a big ball of hair that will easily clog it up. Noise : This product is about as loud as a regular vacuum, so if your pet is scared of vacuums. Then good luck Read more
This grooming vacuum is great. It is really easy to assemble and use. It's small size makes it really lightweight and east to transport. It is much quieter than a typical vacuum, so my dogs are not scared of it. Not the best one I have used, but certainly not the worst either. Overall decent product. Read more
The media could not be loaded. Finally a way to brush the cat without the mess! We started with a lickie pad and canned cat food, something the cat loves. While she was distracted with the food on the lickie pad I began with using the accessory brushes gently on her with out the machine being on. After that, I started the machine on low and she was ok with that. Then a few minutes after I switched it to medium power and finally to full power. She was totally ok with it and liked it! I really thought she would be freaked by the sound of the machine, but no! She was fine with it. While the attachments were great for pulling hair off of her I discovered she had dry skin and the machine even swept that up. While I was brushing her with the machine she was loving it and rubbing on my black sweat pants and the Hair Remove attachment took the hair off my clothes easily. I was actually surprised at how well it worked. The clipper attachment worked well with the suction built right into that. Even though my cat has VERY dense hair, the clippers were able to get through it. Not as good as a professional clippers, but good enough for home use. While the slicker brush wasn't the greatest for her fur, but, her fur is VERY dense, the de-matting brush worked well. This machine was well through tout with the way you wrap the cord (see picture), and the way the hose is wrapped around and has a spot that you hook the first part of it to the machine. The accessory bag holds everything nicely with room to spare. Removing the canister is simple and easy to empty and then put right back on the machine. I wish I had one of these many years ago when I had a yorkie, this would have made grooming her a TON easier and cleaner. Read more
