These ankle-boot-height shoe/boot hybrids are just as awesome as they look. More so really! I wanted something a little funky to wear with skinny jeans and sweaters for the upcoming fall season. What I didn't realize is that these will go great with shorts and jeans with short sleeve t-shirts in the summer also! They are lightweight, extremely artistic... SO artistic in fact, that I'm going to have to order several more pair since I took forever deciding on which ones to purchase, and now I want more styles! Regarding the quality: This vegan/cruelty free upper material is light and true to the promises made by the brand. They are quite light, actually. I'm not sure how long they will last in terms of the material of the upper and the sole, but I'm willing to bet that with care and less than daily use, they will be around awhile. At least long enough to enjoy throughout a couple of seasons! Yes, very impressed. They are true to size so order your normal size. In the photos I am wearing footie socks that you cannot see, and they feel great both with and without socks. In terms of value: I believe that as long as you can find these at a discount or on sale, you are definitely getting your money's worth. I'm not sure the original price point is merited based on the manufactured materials used; but one could definitely make a case that most of the value is in the fashion and artistry. I have to rate these five stars because my conscience won't allow me otherwise. They are just that awesome in terms of fashion and wearability. Highly recommended and I look forward to buying more! These boots fit well and I always get compliments on them. They are both whimsical and comfortable, two things I am looking for in my next friendship 😀 They can get a little sweaty on warm weather but they are also boots, so what should one expect? I notice that they are starting to wear pretty easily in places that get rubbed often from my jeans, so I have cut back on wearing them as often because they are expensive to replace. The graphics on the bear boots are admittedly adorable. The boots seem to be well put together and reasonably comfortable. Buuuut.....The synthetic material these are made of looks cheap. There is no arch support at all. If these cost half a C-note I'd say got for it, but I've got leather Doc M's that cost me less than what I paid for these.
