I don’t know if I paid attention to whether it is safe or not. Plastic. It seems to work. I had an older one that was fantastic. This is similar but much cheaper made. I use my cookers a lot. I bought a glass set as well so I use that more often. But that cost a lot more too. This does what I wanted. Read more
