The skort is very comfy and breathable, but I should have chosen as size down. I am usually a medium, but the skirt is very loose fitting so I think a small would have fit my body much better. I do appreciate the elastic waistband, however! I prefer bottoms to have a bit of give, especially when wearing during hot weather -- which is basically year-round in FL. It is also a lot longer than expected. I thought it was going to be mid-thigh, but it stops just above my knees. I am 5 ft/152 cm for reference. The design is cute, but I thought that the string would all for some sort of adjustment (tighten/loosen/etc) on the skort itself, but it's only decorative so I wish it would have been more functional than simply decorative. I think that if I had chosen the correct size it would be more flattering on my figure. So I like this a lot! So cutie but I did have to do some adjusting to get her just right. I ended up taking the white ties that hang down because I wanted to add something myself. They don’t do anything, there is actually a ring holding the sides together. I am giving this skort a 5 star review, even though I probably won't be keeping it for myself. When I ordered this, I thought it was a skirt with shorts underneath, but I was mistaken. It is shorts with a skirt for the front. And while it is perfectly adorable, skorts are just not my personal style. However, I ordered a large, which I normally bounce between a medium and a large. I'm 5'7" and roughly 155lbs. I have no doubt the medium would've fit as well, but this fit beautifully with a little extra room in the waist. The colors are absolutely gorgeous and I love the print on it. And honestly, it's a good quality made little skort. It's not see through at all but also not heavy material. It's a light, flowy type material. It's super comfortable on, hitting right at my natural waist and having enough length that it doesn't look like a mini. It’s a cute skort, but there are several things I would do differently if it were up to me. First, there is a string on the front that is wrapped around a metal ring. At first glance, I thought the string would allow for some sizing adjustment but it is purely decorative. It’s a very long string to serve no purpose other than to grab onto things as I am sitting or walking. Second, the fabric is very thin which makes this skort a bit shapeless. I don’t have as small a waistline as I used to, so I look for clothing that will flatter my waistline but this skort makes my lower body look boxy. I’m not crazy about that - makes me look kinda shapeless, unless rectangular is a shape. I do love the multicolored print on the fabric though - that is the best part of this skort. Read more
