I absolutely love the crochet vibe of this collared polo top. There are six colors to choose from, and I grabbed the army green. It’s simply lovely. Because this is a crochet-style top, it does have open stitching that will show a bit of skin. If you’re not comfortable with that, you may want to wear a tank top or sports bra underneath. I didn’t find it overly revealing, so a nude bra worked just fine for me. I ordered this in a size small, and for reference I’m 128 pounds and a 34D. It fits just as it should. Slightly oversized, relaxed, and casual. This is exactly the kind of top that feels perfect for a warm spring or summer day paired with denim shorts, sandals, and maybe a cute straw hat. The stripe colors contrast beautifully with the army green, giving it a unique, eye-catching look. The material is soft, comfortable, and lightweight in the best way. It truly has that boutique feel. It’s the kind of top I would expect to see in a small trendy shop. It’s well-made, stylish, and different in a good way. Honestly, if it weren’t such a unique statement piece, I’d be tempted to buy another color, but for me this one feels like a special standalone. I also think the price is very fair, and when I did some comparison browsing, I couldn’t find anything quite like it. I tend to really like this brand, and this top is another winner from them. Five stars for sure. Read more

I wasn’t sure about this item, but I kept going back to the listing, like I was drawn to it. So on the third look I told myself just to get it, the colors are cute and different, as is the design—so I did! I ordered the green one in a size large. I am 5’4” 180lbs. I struggled with taking a star or not taking a star, I chose to because of the shape the shirt gives me and wanting to make sure that is communicated in my rating. I have not tried it styled any other way than on with a pair of bootcut slightly cropped jeans, maybe adding a small knot on the side or a different style pant would help. But as of now it is boxy in a way that is unflattering for my body type. I have a tummy and chubby hips, a kinda flat tush and slimmer thighs—it may just be the way it fits my body in particular. Because I do love the style and that it’s different than the usual women’s top, it has a bit of character and charm to it. Overall I probably would not order again based of my feelings in it, but I do think it would look amazing on other body styles! Read more

I’m usually pretty hesitant about wearing sweaters in the summer, but this Dokotoo crochet top is actually really breathable (yes it's the middle of December right now, but I just got back from a week in Costa Rica where it's burning up like it's the middle of summer, and I tested this sweater there). The knit is open enough to let a breeze through, and the polo collar gives it a slightly more put-together look than just a basic t-shirt. I’ve been wearing it with denim shorts and it has that perfect "I’m trying, but not too hard" boho vibe. The buttons feel secure, and the striped pattern is lined up well, which is something I always check for because crooked stripes drive me crazy. The material is much softer then I expected and hasn't gotten scratchy after a few washes. I did notice the sizing is a bit loose, so if you want a tight fit, maybe size down—unless your planning on hitting a buffet, then stay true to size. Since this shirt was sent to me for free, I’ve been wearing it to almost every outdoor activity lately. Read more

This is a soft sweater that seems well manufactured. The sizing appears appropriate for what was requested. Overall, there are no issues with the sweater from a quality perspective. No dangling threads, buttons attached as expected, no frays and the color striped sections are all distinct with no bleeding into the black. On the downside, if you are purchasing this sweater, you are looking for a particular style. While it is soft and light, depending on your level of modesty, it will require wearing another layer underneath as it is pretty much see-through. It is also a very straight cut with no cinching in the center to fit form. After trying it on, one person indicated that it reminded them of a bowling shirt cut. This was not what was expected, but it is a style preference. I am going to rate mainly on the quality, which seems fairly good and taking off a single star for the style, since the photos on the site don’t do a good job of illustrating the straight cut of the sweater. This is a darling warm weather sweater. It's definitely intended for spring and summer, given how open the weave is. I got the green colorway, and its olive green with brown and yellow stripes gives my favorite 70's "grandpa" vibe. The sweater material is very soft. I would say that it runs large because I ordered a medium, and it's very loose. I would say it fits more like a large. This would be super cute with a green tank underneath and tucked into some brown cargo pants. I can't wait for spring so I can wear it! I weigh between 155-160 lbs, stand 5' 7" tall, with a 39" bust, 33" waist, and 42" hips. I ordered a medium. Read more

I ordered this for my wife who loves the colors (apricot). She is a size small and the blouse is loose-fitting. It clearly has holes in it so you will need to wear something under it. Works well with a camisole or sports bra or bikini top underneath. One thing we noticed is that it is quite a bit shorter than it appears in the product photos. Which was disappointing. Based on the photos, it looks like it is almost long enough to be used as a swimsuit cover-up, but it only comes to slightly below the waist. Maybe you need to size up to get the length to look better. Read more
