I ordered this in the black and it's exactly as the images showcase: matte black background and white stitched details (another reviewer mentioned Moroccan-esque shapes and I think that fits, at least to me). I'm really happy with the color way and think it will work nicely with a variety of bottoms in my closet. A bit about me, I'm 5'3", very busty, amd wear between a 14 and 16 in US sizing. I often size to the 16 as I don't want things overly snug or tight across my chest area. In this top, the size chart said the 16 (its 16/18) is an XL. Full transparency, I have other items from this brand so I am familiar with how it fits. In my other items from this brand, I've ordered an XL and its worked well for me. The XL fits me exactly like the model in the description. Its a loose, not sloppy or oversized, fit pretty much all over. The top is a sweater material but thin. It will work for summer or late spring. I took a picture to show the thickness (or thinness). It feels fine against the skin. It is boxy so know this before you buy it. As mentioned, I'm short and this falls to my mid hip. The sleeves are like cap sleeves on me. The upside is the sleev opening, while it seems wide, doesn't show too much when you lift your arms. Overall, I really like this top. I like the pattern, the feel, the color, and the fit on me. I think it will work for a variety of shapes and is causal in look (but can be dressed up). This Dokotoo casual crewneck sweater vest is so unique and cute! I ordered the pink and the colors are vibrant and pretty. The decorative design has a somewhat Moroccan like appearance that is very visually distinctive, perfect for casual or dressier outfits, depending on the bottoms and accessories you pair with the top. The fabric is so soft, not scratchy at all, very smooth. I was worried that it would be a hot fabric during the warmer months but this particular fabric makeup doesn't feel that it will be too awful as long as I don't wear it on the hottest, most humid days. It has a medium weight feel to it but the cropped, blousey fit will allow some air flow from the bottom of the top. The crop isn't too short, dropping an inch or so below the waistline of my pants. I'm 5'6" 150 lbs and small busted and small framed on the top. The sleeves are a bit more tank length than the cap sleeve shown in the photos, at least on me. They look shorter on me than on the model in the listing photos. I don't love the length on my arms but considering how attractive the rest of the sweater is, I can overlook that minor detail. It fits perfectly everywhere else and doesn't hug or cling to any of the extra weight in my midsection. I like the material that this sweater is made of because it is light weight and I absouloutley love the color and will be wearing this for mardi gras and maybe even st patty day. It is made true to size however it is also made with an odd cut to the fabric. The sleeves for instance do not have a finished hem it is more of a raw hem and I am affraid that it may give me trouble in the washer or dryer and unravel on me over time, oh well only time will tell. I also do not like the way that the top is cut in the sleeve shoulder area it makes me look more boxy that what the model in the picture looks like wearing it. It would be cute with a shaw or a cute cardi over the top of it. Read more
