I was happy with the quality of the Dolce Calma Dried Shredded Kataifi Dough. The strands are fine and light, and they keep that traditional texture that’s perfect for all the classics -- kunafa, kataifi rolls, and baklava as well as more trendy treats like Dubai-style chocolate desserts layered with pistachio cream. It has that authentic crispness and flavor you normally only get from professional bakeries. What I loved most is how easy it is to work with. You simply pour this out of the bag, toast, fill them, shape them, and bake. They turn a gorgeous golden color in the oven and develop a delicate crunch that pairs so well with chocolate, custard, nuts, or cream cheese, you name it! I tried it with pistachio cream and non-nutty spread (I have a nut-allergy child), and the results tasted like something from a high-end dessert shop.
