I really don't understand the controversy over the game not being on the physical disk. Most games have not been completely on their disks for a long time. The industry is clearly moving towards games being completely digital, at least with a physical copy you can sell it if you eventually want to. That's the main reason I buy a games physical disk (plus I just like collecting them). As for the game itself, I love it. I've been playing Doom since the original MS-DOS Doom. As compared to the recent Doom games (2016 and Eternal), The Dark Ages might be my favorite of the three. The ability to fine tune the game's difficulty is a great feature. I just wish the campaign was longer. Read more

Great game!!! Love how you can change and tweak the games settings so you can dial the game in to play exactly the way you want. You can go from extreme difficulty to being a complete god and demolishing everything in your path!!! Read more
Absolutely a Knock Out of the Park. The only thing missing was a Steel Book. But it's one that's fabulous. And they listened by nearly doubling the amount of levels with more than 3 bosses. Read more
