So far this ratchet belt is the best I've ever had. The typical standard type with the buckle doesn't last very long. The area where you hook the the pin in the hole breaks after several months. The other type of belt with the cylinder that slides through slots to hold the belt, is hard to loosen. This ratchet belt is easier to put on and to take off. And it doesn't bend the belt so, it won't break. I hope this ratchet belt lasts longer. Read more

I doubt you will do much better for the price I paid. It takes a bit of memory so you don’t panic at the commode under duress, but just lift the lever on bottom. These slide through belt loops easily. These are not ugly, but If you want more stylish, there are other options, probably for more money. I’m too old to be a chick magnet, if I cared.
