Yes, you read it right in my humble opinion this has kind of been a life-changing product that we have been using now for almost a year. I didn’t even know these existed and after growing up around a cement patio with a pool I totally get why this works as, the stone soaks up the water and so you don’t have as much bacteria or mold buildup really not because the stone soaking all the water out of the area where is a rug would keep it all there. My favorite part selfishly outside of the health benefit is that your feet almost instantly become dry they kind of suction to the stone as you come out of the shower and once you experience that you’ll never go back to a bathmat I mean never ever. We’ve used this in hot and cold days and it’s just wonderful. It’s also nice that they provide a slip rubber mat that goes between your floor and the stone. It’s very thin but I’m glad they provided it. I am a heavy person and I’ve had no issues with it feeling like it’s going to break when you do clean it with the sandpaper. Make sure you do it outside in an open area. I don’t think it’s something that you need to clean a lot, but it does look a little better after you clean it . I did notice that in the summer when there’s more humidity in the air the suction and ability to dry water is not quite as bone as in the dryer months of the winter so when you first get it, you may notice the sections really strong because it’s very dry and depending on your climate And two point you may see it kind of taper off not anything but like instead of 100% it may work at 80% on your feet. It still dries everything all the way I just think because there’s more moisture in the air the suction that you feel on your feet And drying them isn’t quite as Paul. Like I said, we’re in the winter now and it’s dry and it works like it’s brand new again and we have not cleaned it in a couple months. At the end of the day this is a product that looks very pleasing , if your person that showers every day, it has multiple people using the shower you’ll never ever wanna go back to another product like a microfiber towel, bathmat or any other type of bathmat again, you won’t be disappointed if you buy this product and I would imagine other products that are similar would work, just as well however, I could be wrong. I haven’t tried any others. Read more

It’s like magic... the water marks vanish super quick. This bath stone means business: dries fast, wipes clean, and that non-slip pad? It actually doesn’t slip (imagine that). Sleek, minimal, and surprisingly chic. It’s the bathroom upgrade I didn’t know I needed. Read more

Yes it’s expensive but omg this thing works soo well!! Easy to clean just use the sandpaper it came with. You can see it absorbing the water fast. Also feel great standing on it outside the shower while you dry yourself off. Read more

The mat works well. Water disappears in minutes even if you come out of the shower dripping puddles. Doesn't slip. The design is subtle, but pleasing. I only have 2 complaints: 1) Its small for $74, and 2) its $74. I have an identical mat that I bought in Japan for $30. The only difference is there is no design on it. It absorbs the same. The size is the same. The quality is the same. So why is this mat nearly double the price? I can't help but think I made a mistake... Read more

My girlfriend wanted it for her birthday, she loved it and she loves how her feet won’t get wet when she finishes getting ready after showers. Loved the color and design also! No smell, it’s not soft but that’s okay. The Quality is amazing. The cleaning is easy also! It comes with sand paper and the stone dries quickly. Read more

Sleekest bathmat around, makes you feel like you’re at a spa! I bought this during Black Friday so I got it for a good price. It’s slip resistance and fit perfectly in my small bathroom. It was my first time using a bath stone and I won’t go back. It also dries up the water instantly. Read more

The media could not be loaded. My wife and I finished our bathroom in Mid-August and put a ton of time into researching the best bathmat to add to our new oasis. We finally settled on the Dorai Bath Stone with the Rain design in Slate. When it showed up and for the next 3 months this was one of the greatest parts of our bathroom. It is amazing at making the water disappear and has a luxurious feel under your feet when stepping out of the bathroom. This was truly loved until about a month ago when I noticed it was constantly “spinning” and showing the non-slip mat underneath which at first was not a big deal. After further inspection I noticed that it was warping and almost curling up from the edges as you can see in the video. This may not seem like a big deal but to have to constantly monitor it and put it back where it belongs only to have it spin every time you step on it is getting to be a real hassle. For the $90 price tag I would have expected to get more than 3 or 4 months of use out of it. I would like to mention that this was properly maintained by setting it up in its side (as directed in the instructions) at least once a week to let it dry out completely. I had this on my list of gifts to get family members this holiday season, but I have decided to purchase other products instead of this. I do want to highlight how awesome this thing was when initially purchased but unfortunately it did not stand the test of time. Read more
