I find they are brighter than floor strip lights in a movie theater but the subtle warm light is non- offensive while I sleep and still bright enough to not trip on my dog or cat at night when I get up. They have one button on the, that will adjust the lighting to three different levels so you can pick the level that suits your needs best or match other warm tones lights you have in your home. While these lights do not weigh very much they have performed well and sit very nicely plugged in an outlet with zero sagging or falling out of place like an old fashioned night light would sometimes do.
