It's a night light but so much better. I was tired of bulbs and batteries, so I gave these a shot. I know it's a little thing but it has great features. No bulbs to replace, No batteries, No recharging. Just stick it in the wall and use the dimmer slide to adjust for your needs. Yes a dimmer on a nightlight! Works with light/dark, not motion
The light works fine. However it was my mistake in thinking it was motion sensitive. It is not. It is light sensitive. It’s off during the day and on all night long. It works if that’s what you’re looking for. The light is fairly bright. It’s a simple plug in device, inexpensive. Read more

The sensor is hidden inside, you don't see the little hole outside
I put in my garage, pretty bright. At first I don't it's defective and does not have the sensor to detect when it's bright and turns off. Because I saw on all the photos and even on the box that there's this little hole next to the dimness adjustment. However, I do not see it on my night light.
