Looked at buying the component steel from the local distributor but this piece was less expensive and I didn’t have to fabricate anything. I’m nearly done installing it. Everything has gone to plan. I haven’t had to alter the product and the shock fit neatly into the new mount. I would definitely recommend it. Read more

Parts arrived timely and fit nicely. I have a 2008 Chevy 1500 Silverado with 72K miles that is rusting out and with these new frame parts I will get, hopefully, another several years from the truck as long as the rest of the frame system doesn't rust away. This is the second Dorman crossmember kit I ordered this one I’m not very happy with there is rusting under the primer the welds are poor looks like a pipe that’s been sitting around and started to rust and they just primed over it and not much primer at that.
