Excellent Finish and made fron cast metal, likely some kind of zinc alloy I'd guess. I used this for something other than it's intended use. That is for a manual window 2nd Gen Ford Explorer. I got tired of stripping the plastic Dorman cranks and these fit and work perfect. Bought 4 over a year ago to have a matching set in the car. I need to go to explorerforum and tell them in fact.
