I love Dove soap in general. The fragrance is excellent. Just so disappointed in the packaging. I received with a number of soap bars just thrown in to a plastic mailer. I will go back to Walmart for the packaging as was depicted here so I can stack on my shelf. Read more

I found a really great deal on Amazon for Dial soap; it was less than $11 for 30 (4) ounce bars. Little did I realize that the ingredients in Dial are really detrimental to those with dry skin. After using just a few bars, I noticed that my skin was so dry that it was turning white. That's when I decided to spend the extra money and switch to Dove. Now, after using it for just a short period of time, my skin is no longer dried out. It's soft and hydrated, which is just the opposite of the way it was before. The bottom line is that Dove is one of, if not the best soap on the market for dry skin. I only wish that they would stop reducing the size of the bars. Due to its superb moisturizing abilities, the bars don't last as long as I would like. Now that they're being sold in ever smaller sizes, it seems that I'm using them up at an extremely fast rate. While the Dove Beauty Bar deserve 5 stars, I'm giving them 4 stars because of the constant downsizing of the product. Read more
