I have very sensitive skin when it comes to soaps and Dove Original is the only brand that my skin responds to positively! I can't even use their sensitive skin formula (my skin is weird I guess) It has a great lather and although it's original, it still has a clean fresh smell which I love! I love this soap. grew up using it at my grandmother's house. she used this one and the pink one. i prefer this one. sometimes just having it in the bathroom, it gives such a clean and refreshing fragrance to the bathroom. it is clean and does not leave a tacky feeling on your skin, after washing. it is mild, yet strong enough to help keep my face from breaking out. i have sensitive skin. this version is the best for me. once, i asked my dr, if i should get a special lady soap, and which one. he said, "dont waste your money. just buy white dove. it is the best thing you can use." as your own doctor their opinion, but for me, this was used, suggested, and continued to use, pretty much all my life. favorite soap. Dove has proven to be the only soup that doesn't sting or dry out your sting. It is safe for the face and all the other parts of your body. I take my dove bar when I travel and don't have to worry about container size or soup spilling in my bag. I have used Dove my entire adult life and I have not found another soap that doesn't dry out my skin and or burn in certain areas. Dove lathers up well and has a gentle scent. I don't understand why people spend the extra money on body wash as it is costly and most have fragrance and it creates a slippery film on the bottom of your bathtub. Which can be dangerous.
