Wow!! I am shocked after smelling this and then wearing it for a couple days that this Dove Whole Body Deodorant totally outshines the much more expensive and popular brand. With this Dove one, there is zero weird smells that take forever to fade and then sour after a while. The Dove I got is coconut vanilla, and smells subtly sweet and AMAZING, all day long! Just as I had been using the other one for, I used the Dove everywhere. And that was after my daily wash up and tea tree oil spray and blow dry treatment (to prevent yucky body rashes). Then I blow dried all over again. The tea tree and coconut vanilla Dove combo when dried together made me smell kind of like white Tic Tacs, Lol. I like it! The other brand when combined smelled kind of nice at first, but also had that sharp sour note that stuck around. Dove just smells great and works great. So if you're looking for an alternative to that other brand, this is the one that will become your go-to favorite. It's long-lasting and dries quickly with or without blowdrying. This deodorant is incredibly soft and applies wonderfully. It’s smooth and the scent is amazing. While I really like the scent, it doesn’t last incredibly long for me. Also, some deodorants don’t irritate my skin even after freshly shaving. This one does. So when I shave my arm pits, I need to wait a bit before applying this under my arms. Overall I do like it but for me, it’s a better winter option. I do sweat and need something a little more durable in the warmer months. Otherwise, you may just need to apply it a few times throughout the day. Read more

Very difficult to apply - very dry. The scent it pleasant enough but extra strong. I smelled like I had just come from the beach for days. But it did keep me dry and as for odor - well all I could smell was a strong scent of Coconut and Vanilla. Like I said, pleasant scent but overwhelming for the full 72 hrs. Read more

I had high hopes for this, but unfortunately it did not meet my expectations. The Dove Whole Body Deo Anti-Chafe stick smells wonderful in the container, with a soft coconut vanilla scent, but once applied it mixes with body chemistry and the smell changes. Unfortunately, the scent isn’t very long lasting, and as the day goes on and I sweat, it becomes less pleasant. I wanted something that would smell just like it does in the stick so I can carry that smell all day long. I will say that it is gentle on the skin and it is aluminum free, which I appreciate, but the fragrance performance is disappointing. It does dry quickly, but honestly for the money I don't feel like it's enough of a performance quality item to spend the price. Overall, it’s okay if you just want something mild, but don’t expect the scent to stay fresh all day. Also depending on your own body chemistry the smell could change, and if you are going to have a highly active day that smell probably won't keep you smelling fresh. So beware because I smelled worse after applying this on my active days. Read more
