The item began to malfunction less than a year into owning it. Which, okay fine, sometimes you get a dud, it happens. But, when we tried to use the warranty on it Doxy told us we had to go through Amazon. Amazon told us we had to go through Doxy. It just kinda revolved like that for a few weeks. Eventually Amazon got into to contact with a 3rd party warranty, lucky duck or something, who told us they would send us a box to ship it back to them to inspect and then hopefully replace it. I was really excited to buy this product, but a couple of days after it arrived, the attachment head fell apart, making it unusable. I came back to Amazon to report the issue and was directed to contact the seller, who also happened to be the manufacturer, letting them know that their product had failed. I was sent a link to purchase a replacement for the failed part for another $25. I know it isn't a big deal to pay another $25 after the cost of the wand itself, but the whole experience just feels like it falls short and I don't really want to keep sinking more money into this situation. We were blown away with the power of this little unit. Its smaller, light weight, very well made. The charge lasts a long time on the highest setting. I promise you will be very well finished, more than once, long before this unit runs out of juice. (think of the energizer bunny) Quick recharge considering other rechargeable units we have tried. Its small and light enough to be easily maneuverable to reach just where you need it to be. Do not know how we ever managed without it.
