This is a beautiful trench coat! I purchased the black trench. The fabric is a wonderful quality and the checkered lining is so classy! I read reviews before I purchased and people were confused as to why the middle seam in the back has a row of buttons. That's because it is an old world, or old fashioned (if you want to call it that) design of sophistication. I am 5'7" tall and 140 pounds. I have wide shoulders and am very straight shaped. Because of my wide shoulders I get a size large and sometimes an x-large. I got a large in this trench coat and the fit is absolutely perfect with a little room for bulkier shirts or sweaters! The length with my height is just below the knee. I have long arms and the sleeve length is also perfect! It was vacuumed packed in plastic and there were no wrinkles. The button holes have a few clipped loose threads that I will clip shorter, no problem, and the buttons are nice and heavy and large. After wearing it this month since the weather is nice and a bit brisk this raincoat is beautiful. I love the plaid interior and the buttons that go down the back give it an extra warmth and style. Hits past the knee. A little oversized but I like that. Waterproof and lightweight. Fits true to size. I got a size small and I’m 119 pounds. Read more
I got this coat because I like a classic look, and I think this coat portrays it well. I’m 5’8” tall and it’s a good length for me and looks nice with both dresses and pants. The fabric is a good quality and the cut of the coat makes it comfortable to wear. The coat is a nice weight for chilly fall days. I like the pocket welts and other details like the cuff bands, hidden button front closure, and interior checkered lining. All the stitching is well done. The buttons are good quality and sewn on well. I expect the coat to last as it seems durable. I would recommend it. Read more
I have mixed feelings about this coat. It fits nicely and I love the contrasting lining. But…the buttons up the back are weird. It’s a cute detail but it actually completely opens up. I’d think wind and rain would come in the back and that’s when I’d wear it! It also needs a belt in my opinion. This may not get as much wear as I’d hoped. Read more
My wife is really enjoying this long new trench coat. Very wearable for all occasions, formal or casual. Water repellent and wind proof has been excellent. Not so much for rain, as we have had abnormally little this fall and into winter so haven't tested it out. Wind, though, is another matter with some ferocious winds and seemingly all too frequent breezes. This keeps those breezes out and we don’t venture out when it is gusting up to 45 mph! The fabric is high quality fabric, and my wife finds the coat super comfortable and stylish. The black buttons on the front and on the back add a great flair to the whole look in her opinion. This is a Gorgeous, light weight trench coat! The material is smooth and professional looking, and the lining is silky soft. Is Tayler very well and professionally sewn! If it is true to size, I wear a size medium and jackets, and the medium fits me perfectly. This isn’t a very warm coat. It’s a nice coat for early autumn before it starts getting too chilly. It looks great over dresses or jeans I can be dressed up or down. Wish it were a little bit warmer had some insulation in it, as it would be more useful to wear into the winter. I LOVE this trench coat!!! The plaid on the inside is so stinking cute! It gives the basic trench coat that little bit of something extra. I ordered Xs and it fits good. It’s big and loose but that’s how it’s supposed to be. I was afraid I’d be swimming in it seeing as I’m short and petite(5’2”& 115lbs) but I’m not and I’m super happy about that! I’ve been needing one of these it’s such a vital fall/winter staple piece! You can style it so many different ways it has so much versatility!
