I looked back at my purchase history on this cleansing balm from Dr. Althea. I have purchased it 10 times. It is such a great product! It goes on as a very creamy balm in 14 years ago and is excellent at taking off all your makeup, including your mascara. I have tried other cleansing balms trust along the way, however, my eyes would get irritated. There is absolutely no irritation to my eyes with this product, which tells me a lot about their good ingredients. Not all Korean skin care is created equal, but I highly recommend Dr. Althea products. Read more
I have been washing my face wrong for years. This is the first step of a two step process to remove makeup, dirt and oil. It’s creamy and fatty feeling. Removes all of my eye makeup including stubborn thick mascara and liquid eye liner. After cleaning with this I use my normal Trader Joe’s cleanser and never have to go back in for additional cleaning or makeup removal. Worth every penny spent and there is no scent either. I love this product. I used Elemis for several years but on recommendation from an influencer I tried Dr. Althea. I feel like it works just as well as Elemis and the cost is definitely more wallet friendly. I would absolutely recommend this product. Read more
This is excellent! Not greasy, very smooth and washes off clean. I use this as a first step makeup remover but I could stop there. I do use another glycolic wash but this does a great job on its own. At 20$, it is a little pricey but you don't use a lot to get the job done. I will repurchase. Read more
I like this cleansing balm product very much. The texture is smooth, it melts make up easily even waterproof ones! It feels gentle on skin without any dryness or leaving any greasing residue! However, the size is quite small for the price, and I went through it pretty quickly. Because of that, even though I enjoyed using it, I don’t think it’s worth repurchasing. Read more
This melts makeup right off, most of my eye makeup comes off except waterproof mascara. I think I've repurchased 3-4 times now. Its enough to gently cleanse and not strip my dry skin of moisture. I don't double cleanse when I use this, I really don't need to it gets everything off. The packaging is amazing with my long nails too I love this grinding feature so much! Read more
