I purchased this product when I was in severe pain I would say about a eight out of 10 and it with N using it within a week it helped stabilize my shoulder and I was able to use my shoulder again. So I disliked that its made for a tiny armed person its marketed to and for women but your arm has to be tiny needs a design review because the Velcro strap if not fully covered up is really uncomfortable had to put something between the velcro and my shirt so that it didnt dig. Something like the body strap would be perfect for around the arm it would also give it a bit more room for larger arms. I like that it can hold an ice pack where its needed. If putting this on by self you have to be cautious about pulling shoulder forward but that can be remedied by pulling the strap from back to front via you free arm . I have an atrophied rotator cuff and was hoping this brace would provide the comfort and support I get from the k-tape applied by my physical therapist. However, that kind of support is not possible with the material used to manufacture this brace. The brace fits like a lumpy, bulky bit of material wrapped around my arm and shoulder, and does nothing to support my shoulder. Worst of all, part of the brace is made from hard plastic. I would gladly pay triple the cost of this brace for something that does the job of k-tape. I purchased two different shoulder braces, hoping that one would be a good fit - both were terrible. After getting Covid my main symptom was a terribly painful shoulder, after a month I was diagnosed with tendinitis, I could barely list my arm or hold anything heavier that 5lbs. Doctor prescribed me some medication and told me i had to give it at least 6 to 8 weeks to feel a little better but that was too long for me. I decided to give this brace a go and after 1 week of wearing it every day I noticed how Much better my arm was feeling, this brace helps with keeping it in place and it helped me with stability. I have now tried a few times to wear this shoulder brace but I don't find it helping me and design is so horrendous that it causes pain from the velcro under the arm. Why put the fastener UNDER the arm? Why not on the outside where it would not dig in so terribly to a very sensitive part of the arm? The color pinkj is pretty horrible too but I could live with that. The bottom line is I don't feel that it fastens securely enough to give much support. Read more

Overall, we think that this device not only relieved my husband's pain, but also helped his torn rotator cuff to quickly heal. For several months, this rotator cuff had been causing him a world of pain. It hurt to turn door knobs to open doors. The pain disappeared when he was wearing this. After wearing it for 7 days, he hasn't needed it at all. I can't speak to whether this brand is the best choice out there. It takes a little adjustment, but it was simple enough to get the right fit. It would be difficult to do alone the first time, but I think that would be the case for any brand.
