I've been using Dr. Bronner's products for many years so was happy to find that Amazon has a Dr. Bronner's shop with all my favorites. This soap is organic so I know I'm not rubbing a lot of endocrine-disrupting chemicals into my skin while it does a great job of cleaning. It's a powerful cleaner for the both the body, and just about anything else. It's not at all drying and has a pleasant, gentle scent. It's amazing. I read some of the other reviews and I don't get what they're talking about. unless people don't know how to actually use soap!it lathers amazingly it doesn't dry out the skin.a little bit goes a long way and it smells like a fresh picked bundle of lavender flower. it does not smell artificial it smells amazing. the smell is a little strong when you open the bottle but when you're actually using it it's not overly strong.it cleans so good. I've even tried it on my laundry and it cleans my laundry amazing! this stuff is like ridiculously good and it lets your skin be clean clean but also make your skin feel soft without like a chemical gunky feeling...!!!!! Love Dr. Bonner's liquid or bar soap. Natural, non harmful ingredients. Doesn't dry your skin out and has a nice fragrant smell. Well worth the money. You can also find in Ross sometimes but it is the 16 oz bottle for $10.99. Read more
I’ve been a big bronners fan for way over a decade now and use it for everything. It makes a great body wash and leaves you feeling clean and you get quite a bit in the jug so it lasts a long time. For shampoo it works, but it dries out my hair. They do sell a sugar soap that works wonders for shampoo instead. I also use this as laundry detergent and have had great results. 3-4 tbsp into the wash and clothes are perfect. No chemicals or funky stuff in it either just essential oils and goodness. Read more

This lavender smells so good. I am a long time fan of Dr. Bronner's soaps. I used peppermint last time, and love it but this time it wasn't available. I ordered lavender and I love it too. This large bottle will last a long time for me. It's a great value and so kind to hair and skin. Yes, I do wash my hair with it as a clarifying alternative to my routine. I use this liquid soap with the exfoliating pads, gloves and poofs, and a little can lather me entirely. It is so refreshing. This soap rinses easily and leaves my skin feeling clean with no oily or sticky feel, not film. Very comfortable to use, and gentle on the skin, no sting for me. I do have sensitive skin. The peppermint is a bit more 'spicy' but also not irritating. 5 stars great value. Read more
