Before we had our baby, almost all of our friends recommended Dr. Brown’s bottles. I still ended up buying a few different brands to try, but these were the only ones my baby liked. The size and shape are perfect—not too big and not too wide. My baby didn’t like the shorter, fatter bottles at all, but did great with these narrow ones. They’re very good quality, durable, and have held up well with daily use. They’re also easy to clean despite the anti-colic pieces, and I love that they’re glass and long-lasting. Overall, these bottles have been reliable, well-designed, and clearly baby-approved. Highly recommend if you’re trying to find a bottle your baby will actually accept. Read more

Why I Bought It I bought these as a backup plan while hoping to exclusively breastfeed — and I’m so glad I did. What I Like • Truly reduces colic, gas, and fussiness • Easy to clean and holds up well after months of washing • Pediatrician approved — ours was happy we were using them • Glass feels high-quality and safe What Could Be Better • A little heavier than plastic bottles, but worth it for the quality Real-Life Use We’ve used these for 4 months straight, and they made the switch from breastfeeding to bottle feeding smooth and stress-free. Baby tolerated these far better than others we tried. Overall Thoughts Amazing bottles for newborns with gas or reflux. Absolutely recommend to any new parent. Read more

Glass bottles are so much better when it comes to using them and not having to worry about them getting to hot and melting the plastics. I still use the bottles even though my child does not need them, they are now in the kitchen as liquid measurements and on the side they give you the oz with the lines. Though when I did use these, they were great for keeping the liquid warn or cold, fit in a lot of those baby bags and did not have any leakage. They are a little hard to get adjusted to when holding them because they are glass and it is a little heavier, but love multipurpose ussages. Would buy again if I decided to have another crotch goblin. Read more

These are glass bottles! To my surprise I had no idea but we love them! My son loves them and he hasn’t broken one (yet). They seem like they are not easy to break so that’s good! And better yet they are much easier to clean than the plastic. Also much safer to hear glass than plastic! Read more

Love these bottles for my baby, glass is always the way to go. Anticolic is great for no trapped gas, less spit up and less hiccups. Size is perfect for now, will get the next size in glass from this brand specifically because they are so good. Durability is also great, have dropped a few times no breaks. All parts can go in dishwasher. Read more

Such heavy duty bottles that I feel good about using for my little. I will say there is ZERO leaking with the glass bottles, the plastic ones and I were about to throw hands. They are HEAVY, so take that into account for holding/late night feeds. Otherwise they are great 8 ounce bottles and super heavy duty. I have only broken 1 which was my own fault, knicked the neck on the countertop coming out of the dishwasher and the neck chipped, but the rest of the bottle stayed intact so definitely great quality!! What I liked: The anti‑colic internal vent system is a big plus. According to the manufacturer, it’s “clinically proven to reduce colic… decreases spit‑up, burping and gas.” Dr. Brown's +2 Amazon +2 In practice, our baby seemed calmer during feedings and had fewer burps and gas episodes right after switching to this bottle. The glass bottle is high quality: borosilicate glass, heat and thermal shock‑resistant (so you can handle warm/hot to cool transitions) according to specs. Amazon I like that glass instead of plastic, for durability, feel, and avoiding plastic concerns. The nipple shape is thoughtful: described as “breast‑like nipple shape” to encourage proper latch and smoother transition between breast and bottle. Dr. Brown's +1 Our baby took to it quite readily. Flexibility/growth consideration: The internal vent system can be removed as baby grows and their feeding needs change — so you don’t necessarily need to switch to a totally different bottle brand later. Amazon +1 Care/cleaning is fairly straightforward: It is dishwasher safe (top rack), safe to use in electric/microwave sterilizers or boiling water (as per manufacturer). Amazon +1 What to consider / minor drawbacks: With all the parts (vent system + narrow glass bottle + screw top + nipple), there is a bit more assembly / cleaning than the simplest bottle on the market. If you prefer ultra‑minimal, this might be a bit more work. Glass, while great, is heavier than plastic — so during late‑night feedings or travel it’s something to keep in mind (less drop‑resistant as well, though the borosilicate helps). The “narrow” neck version is good for compatibility/flow, but some users may prefer the wide‑neck version for easier pouring, cleaning, or when using bottle brushes. The “slow flow” nipple (Level 1) is perfect for newborns, but if baby feeds faster / gets older you’ll need to upgrade to the next flow level; worth planning ahead. Price is a bit higher than basic bottles, especially for glass + anti‑colic system combined — but given the features, I think the premium is justifiable if you need the anti‑colic support. My verdict: If you’re looking for a bottle that goes beyond “just a bottle” and offers real anti‑colic technology + good materials + thoughtful design, this Dr. Brown’s Options+ Narrow Glass Bottle is a strong choice. For us it delivered what it promised: fewer feeding struggles, calmer baby, and a product that feels premium. I’d give it 4.5 out of 5 stars. Read more
