Routinely used Dr. Hauschka products when I was in college & professional life before kids 20+ years ago. Back then, one had to locate small shops in the city and even the gift shop at the Waldorf school to find them. Unfortunately, the authentic company was sold to an umbrella corporation. With the costs of a growing family and little time for myself, I made substitutions. (I kept a few ampoules and a compact of bronzing powder in my top bureau drawer. My pre-K youngest, with her curious hands, discovered them like treasures.) I can confidently say nothing compares to Hauschka. Aveda, Weleda, or others who entered this specialty market over two-plus decades haven't come close. Now an empty nester, I’ve reconnected with the treasured routine skincare products. Despite its corporate owner, I am reminded of how affirming for my skin and spirit! I'm glad the products haven't changed! Sadly wonder how nutritive my skin and self-care would be if there was an affordable way that I could have continued through those busy Mama years. Discounts and sales are all too rare!
