I've gotten to the point I need to constantly cut my nose and ear hairs and scissors just don't work the same anymore or does my electric shaver. This was inexpensive so I figured I'd give it a try. It really works well and does not pull the hair as I was afraid it might. You simply hear the "clipping" as it cuts your nose and ear hairs. There is no feeling of cutting, just the clicking of the hairs as they are cut. This is much easier than using my electric shaver and not as noisy, not to mention it provides a closer cut and much easier to use.. The one area I would caution about, is removing the head to clean it. It is easy to remove but the cutting mechanism is very fragile and if you don't take care, you'll break it. (image) Personally I would not rinse it under water, even though they say you can. You may inadvertently rinse hair into the head and if left to dry may jam or break the fragile cutter. Just carefully use the cleaning brush. It is also why I can see it having a short usable life, unless you use care. Due to this I would normally give it 4 stars but due to the low price I'm giving it 5 stars. Read more

I have had a couple other trimmers and this one is on par with similar products. Not better, not worse. It cuts or clips the hairs and I do not feel like it is pulling at all. It is easy to use and not noisy. Cleaning the cutting mechanism is easy, though I have not felt that I needed to do that often. The cutter does look fragile but just be mindful of what you are doing and cleaning is easy. The cap over the cutter is nice to protect it when I am traveling with it. It operates off a single AA battery and swapping it out is a breeze. Overall this is a nice tool to have in your bathroom kit when you need it. Read more
I started seeing thin, long hairs poking out of my nose. Like WTH?! So I had this curved pair of scissors that I used to trim these disrespectful hairs. However, it took too long. My beauty regimen as I age just keeps getting longer and longer. I just wanted to be done with something I quite frankly could have aged without. So, I received the Dr.Pedi Nose Hair Trimmer. It helps. I still go in with the scissors, but this gets mostly everything and close up to the skin without cuts. You'll need a AA battery. It produces this burning plastic smell that is very telling when you are using it. The device gets pretty warm, so I use it quickly and then use the scissors for "detailing." Basically, you just move it around like a Q-tip and you'll hear the device as it trims the hair. Now, I can throw my head back and laugh with confidence that no one is staring my nose hairs. I used them one time and when I went to use them again, they didn't work at all. NOW ITS TO LATE TO GET MY $ BACK. Read more
Positives: - Trimmer is very simple to use with just a single switch to turn the trimmer on and off. - The whole body of the trimmer is matte plastic with a slight textured finish. - Including the cap and battery, the trimmer is only 2.5 ounces. I found it a comfortable weight and easy to hold/manipulate around my beard and eyebrows. - Unit is powered by a single AA battery which was easy to install. - Trimmer’s head unscrews for cleaning and blade replacement. - Usage is safe and due to the cutting head design, it can’t grab any skin. I like this trimmer and think it is a good value for the asking price. Negatives: - Top cap comes off too easy and can get separated when traveling. For everyday use It's not really a problem as I just keep the trimmer in my bathroom drawer. The above review is for Dr. Pedi’s Nose hair trimmer. Read more
I guess I'm old enough that I have to worry about nose hairs now? I tried the adapter that came with my multi-trimmer, but it just wasn't cutting it (incidental pun). The Dr. Pedi Nose Hair Trimmer works noticeably better, mostly in that is actually cuts my nose hairs and doesn't just tickle the inside of my nostrils. The trimmer is small, light weight, and durable (I've dropped it a bunch of times already and it still works good as new). It is easy to clean and having the only settings being on and off is great because I really have no idea what I'm doing. There aren't a bunch of numbers or options, just off and on. I haven't had any issues with hairs getting caught and my unit is still working fine a month later. Read more
