This is my second pair (the first was bought at the Wal-Mart where they had the machine). What a great product, especially since you don't have to pay a doctor to get them if you can find one of the machines that tells you which one to use. Pricey inserts make me nervous and I resisted considering them for a long time. Then my friend told me she knew people who swore by these, and I risked the $50. For me, they turned out to be well worth the expense. Some of the nerve-related issues I was experiencing went away as soon as I started using them. Other issues (I've got a lot of feet issues right now) improved noticeably. I think I've got plantar fasciitis, and the inserts make it easier to deal with. They don't last forever, though, and I started noticing issues recently about six months after the original purchase, which is why I bought this pair. Wore them today for the first time, and it was like walking on clouds again. I threw the old pair in the washer with the rest of my laundry (no special treatment) and air-dried them, and stuck them in my house-slippers. Seems like a good way to get a little more life out of them! They washed well and now I have a bit more support when I'm wandering around the house. Second time I have bought this product (Dr. Scholl’s CF 410) for my wife. She is on her feet at work all day and was having severe foot pain by the end of the day every day. We saw the machine at Walmart and decided to try it and see if it worked. The machine suggested this one for her. She tried it and it was amazing. After using it one day her foot pain was gone! You just put the insert in the shoe without removing the one already in the shoe. Highly recommend this product. It is amazing how well it works. If you have foot pain, find one of the machines and see which one is recommended for you. It is not cheap, but it will change your life. She has used insert daily and it has lasted around a year.
